TUNDE OLATUNJI BELLO AUDITORIUM UNVEILED IN LASU.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently visited Lagos State University (LASU) Epe Campus to inaugurate the Tunde Olatunji Bello Auditorium in LASU.
The Tunde Olatunji Bello Auditorium is a facility designed to enhance the university’s academic environment. This multi-purpose auditorium features a fully furnished hall that seats 500 people. The auditorium is a generous donation from Olatunji Bello, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).

Additionally, Tunji Bello has a long history of public service. He has served as a cabinet member in the Lagos State Government four times. His dedication to the state is evident in this latest contribution. Additionally, he is married to Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the current Vice Chancellor of LASU.

The construction of the auditorium began in 2021. By investing in this construction, Tunji Bello chose to commemorate his 60th birthday. Rather than hosting a traditional celebration, he encouraged this initiative for community development.
The auditorium is located within the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at LASU Epe Campus. It will serve as a venue for lectures, seminars, and other academic events. The facility aims to provide students and faculty with a modern space for learning and collaboration.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s presence shows the importance of this project in enhancing educational infrastructure in Lagos State.
